That note #55wordfiction

The doorbell rang.

She stood up to open the door pushing away the boxes she was unpacking in her new rented flat. There was nobody outside. As she turned back to shut the door, she spotted a bouquet of red roses taped to the door. It had a note popping out which said ‘Found you, Moti. Once again.’

I have attempted a 55-word fiction in response to the prompt ‘Red Roses’ given by The Frangipani Creative.

  1. That story sounded like a cute romantic story. It had a happy undertone and I am happy to read such a happy note wall post from you. I want a part 2 as well. Love and hugs

  2. Wondering what happens next! Hope it isn’t someone she wouldn’t be happy to meet after all these years. So glad you wrote this piece of fiction, Anamika.
I took a long time to get into the frame of mind where I could actually write and I just published mine about 30 minutes ago. ๐Ÿ™‚
