This is Dhruv’s Lego Robot family. The tall robot is Papa and the short one is Dhruv.
Can you guess what is that black block in Papa Robot’s hand? Do let me know in the comment section.
Missed me in this family picture?
I am that teddy bear in the background enjoying my me-time.

What a contented bear that is ! I assume the black brick is a mobile phone ….

It is nice to hear the bear comes across as contented which wasn’t the case earlier. The teddy used to cry a lot feeling left out before discovering it as a window for Me-time. How could be Ajji be wrong! π The black brick is a mobile phone forever stuck to Papa’s hand.

Oh this Ajji did get it wrong. I hope bear is feeling happier now. And I did get the mobile phone right

Thatβs a cool LEGO family. I love the teddy bear enjoying its me time. π Is that an x-box controller or a remote control papa robot holding? Did I get the prize? π

Ohhhh! I am so so sorry to say you didn’t get the prize for guessing the answer. That black brick is the mobile phone forever glued to Papa’s hand to Dhruv’s annoyance.
Don’t worry about this prize because you are a prize yourself and so is your friendship π

Good one, Dhruv! Thanks for sharing this picture, Anamika. I think the picture says it all. Papa is holding a TV remote or perhaps a cellphone, I am guessing! But, the question I’d like to ask D is ‘Where is Mamma?’
Thanks for linking up with us, Anamika! This picture was indeed very unique.

It is the inseparable-from-the-hand mobile phone. Dhruv is Papa’s boy so he spared Mummy leaving her free to relax.

Generational gap. I had no idea what the black box was except, perhaps, for an old fashioned black rotary phone receiver. That’s obviously the wrong answer, lol.

An old fashioned black rotary phone receiver sounds very interesting. I will say that black brick is the modern version of the same. It is the smartphone perpetually stuck to Papa’s hand.

Aha, Mamalife, your answer made me smile for I am the tea guzzler in the house. That black brick is the mobile phone.
It feels so good to see you here after a year. I wonder why don’t I know your real name even after so many years. It would be so nice to know and call you by your real name. Wouldn’t it? π

I think that black block is the mobile phone. Right? I am wondering why is mama a teddy bear and not a lego robot? π

Your answer is right. Bingo!
Mummy is a teddy bear because she looks like one π

I visited this post, a few days back but God knows why..left without a comment. So, today, I came back again to comment. I feel the thing in Papa’s hand is remote. I loved you in the background. Dhruv seems like a daddy’s boy and that surely leaves you with good ‘me-time’. Unlike, my mamma’s boy who never lets me have my ‘me-time’.

That black brick is the mobile phone, the constant irritating factor for Dhruv when it is in his Papa’s hand restricting this playtime or question time or chatting time with Papa. But, he loves it when it is in his own. π About the Daddy’s boy, I have had enough fretting times of ‘Mera beta mera nahin raha, apne baap ka ho gaya. Isi din ke liye itne saal akele paala tha’. Then I realized it is not the time to fret but to be happy there is lots of me-time for me now.
I can empathize with you, Balaka.

I guess distance made the hearts fonder. He must have missed his father so now he is trying to compensate for the loss. My son goes to his dad only when he has to buy something expensive. That irks his father a lot. Itna matlabi beta. I guess my son enjoys more with me because I am the less stricter parent. I am more like an elder sister to him whereas his father is Amrish Puri from ddlj. But I feel one of the parent need to be strict warna baccha hath se jayega.
