I am sharing a few photos from the Barnes Children’s Literature Festival we attended last weekend on 11th and 12th May in London.
The main action ground…oops action tentOh no, Mummy! Axel Scheffler is sold out.
To make it clear, the famous illustrator Axel Scheffler wasn’t sold out only his session was.
Dhruv and I sauntering around the festival ground. Confession – I was more starry-eyed than him.The place was bubbling with joy and excitement. Or was it me?This family of swans too visited the festival with their kids. Did the swan parents check out any books for their children? This needs to be investigated.
It was a wonderful wonderful wonderful place. Yes, 3 times wonderful – Nature, park, trees, pond, swans and ducks and books. Lots and lots of books and book-related events. Only if I had enough finances to attend all the events and buy books.
This does look like a really wonderful place to be, Anu! I can imagine why you were starry eyed. 😛 I would have been too.
