One evening we were walking back home from the city centre taking the usual path when my sight fell upon this tree on the other side of the road. I had never noticed this tree, surrounded by concrete structures, earlier but that day it could not remain unnoticed given its white paper like leaves.
Doesn’t it look beautiful? And unreal? Or maybe artificial?

I think this is the only time this small tree might have got attention from anyone.

It is real and my guess is that the flowers must have got your attention. Is it spring there?
What a good find Anamika and I am glad you joined with this one. Thank you!

It had to be real. I saw this tree again with green leaves and there is nothing magical or attention seeking about it now. It was a sheer chance that the white flowers got it noticed.

I got it at the perfect time in its glory because now it has gone back to its unnoticeable status with its regular green leaves.

Definitely real. It looks like a cherry tree and it is spring time there, so the perfect time for cherry blossoms. The flowers look so pretty!! Well spotted, Anamika and so glad you shared this picture with us.

I am not aware if cherry trees get such big white flowers. I do not think it is a cherry tree.
Well spotted! Yes I think.

Isn’t it funny when we think that something is too beautiful to be natural? Forgetting that art is merely an attempt to recreate natural beauty!

And as usual, Corinne, yours is the most thought-provoking comment for it set me thinking, agreeing and changing my outlook for the future.
