The first knock of Spring #ThursdayTreeLove

The first flowers graced my place 2 weeks ago. Spring is in the air.

  1. A beautiful tree. Thereโ€™s a message of inspiration and perseverance in that in spite of the loss of a major branch, the tree continues to blossom.

    1. Oh yes. This was not the way I saw this tree but thank you, Joanna, for your fresh perspective. The brown circular patch looks like the heart of the tree which continues to beat.
Thank you for visiting and sharing your thought ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. What a gorgeous one and I am thinking this one would have brought back Bangalore to you. The park, greenery and then those flowers on trees. Good to know that spring is here. Wishing you brighter days and more blooms. Thank you for joining!

    1. I had only been once to Cubbon Park in my 3 and a half years of stay in Bangalore. Except for this, I cannot speak of parks in Bangalore but flowering trees, of course.
It was trick weather played with these innocent representatives of nature for a while making them blossom. It is back to winter now courtesy the storms one after the other with heavier than heavy rains and high-speed gales. I wonder wouldn’t the trees like the one in the photo be feeling cheated? I am imagining the other trees which have not blossomed yet must be like – dekha mana kiya tha abhi mat khilo par khilne ki badi jaldi machi thi inhe to ๐Ÿ˜€

    1. Popcorn, the flowers do look like popcorns. How wonderful it could be if we could just pluck the popcorns off the tree and devour them ๐Ÿ™‚ Things are not really warming up here as we are being treated to storms after storms with heavy rains, high-speed gales, and snow in the upper reaches.
