These are 2 photos taken at the same location, beneath the Blackpool Tower, but 5 and a half years apart.
In (March) 2013, I guess he was trying to figure out the letters although I am not too sure because he was not even 2 at the time.
In (December) 2018, he was reluctantly posing the way his mummy wanted him to stand to recreate the first photograph.
I was actually dismayed at the way the second photo turned out to be with low light and also I missed making him stand at the exact position as in the first one. Yet, when I see the collage now, it appears as if he started at ‘J’ in 2013 and reached ‘M’ in 2018 in the word ‘JAM’.
What other perspectives can you think of?

I see the light contract in both pictures and starting with J reaching M over the year is this sign that Dhruv is growing up fast:)

Anamika,
What a fun idea to recapture a moment in time again many years later! Your kiddo might not see the point in the fuss now but one day, heโll be happy that dear ole mum insisted on the pose. I am glad you didnโt have him standing in the precise spot as the first shot. This shows the progression of time. ๐ Happy WW! Come join my linky partyโฆif you dare! ๐

Such a great way to capture growth. It seems like the first picture was early in the day, and the second later…so when he was small, he started early at the J and migrated to the M by later in the day. ๐

Aw this is cute. It seems like he set out in the evening at J and reached M by nightfall :-).
PS: So happy to see you back to regular blogging.

What a cool capture. Mum is smart ๐
I can see that time has brought you the same place. May be this wasn’t something you had anticipated in 2013.. Or had you?

No. I never anticipated it that we will move back to the same place years later. Destiny, it is ๐

What a fun capture this is, Anamika. Looks like the 2018 one was clicked in the evening as I see reflections of light. He will enjoy these photographs when he is all grown up. ๐

Oh My God! This is simply awwwwdorable, Anamika.
I think you did a fabulous job of recreating the picture.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I think Dhruv’s feet are slightly lifted high in the latest shot, and I think our little man is growing faster than we know.
Perspectives. ๐
Absolutely great to have you link up with us, Anamika on #WW. Thank you.

Thank you for joining us for #WW, Anamika! I think this is a great comboโthe twin pics five years apart, showing how time progresses! There’s the difference in day and night, and the difference in height. In the former he looks quite small, barely holding himself straight as any toddler would, I guess. In the latter, his posture shows confidence as he looks down to read below. Time has progressed, hasn’t it? And maybe, who knows, years from now, you might again shoot a snap of him standing taller than now? ๐
