I am your garden #ThrowbackThursday 3

For this week’s #ThrowbackThursday, I am sharing a short poem from Jan 2015. This poem is dedicated to the mother-son bond and the playful times.

You saw my hair left open

You gave out a loud sigh

Mum, please tie up a ponytail

Then I wondered why

I tied them in a ponytail

Saw sparkle in your eyes

Instantly you asked for a hug

And came running by

I kept wondering why

All giggly giggly happy happy

You hung around my neck

And then I got it why

I was your garden

The ponytail the swing

Which you kept swinging by

  1. Such a beautiful poem. The kids can imagine and it’s a blessing !
I feel that the smartphones are taking away the imagination bit by bit from us and kids!

    Any how lovely lines:)
