The pencil of your mind
moves and scribbles
writes and draws
pokes holes in pages
tearing them.
Every stroke
every letter
every shape
speak up stories
you weave into them.
I listen to them
see through them
marvel over them
and
roll over laughing.
Astonished
amazed
I am
the storyteller
that you are
I am privy to a lot of stories these days, stories which Dhruv sews, weaves and tells and they are coming in huge waves.
He also pushes me to keep on writing my stories in his own innocent ways. Like the conversation both of us had a few weeks back-
Me: Oh Dhruv, I don’t know where time flies off these days. I have not been able to work on my stories.
Quickly came the reply.
Dhruv : Mummy why do you keep on wasting your time?
Motivated by his never ending tales, I intend to start a new category under the name ‘Dhruv’s the storyteller’. I am sure those stories are going to plaster smiles all over.

Hi Anamika ma’am,
Loved the opening lines. And of course Dhruv’s response. 😛 Reminder for all, isn’t it? I eagerly look forward to read the stories. 🙂
