The other day I was feeling low. I sat with the computer switched on in front of me but was not able to write down a single word. Huge influx of ideas kept cluttering my mind making sure I could not concentrate on any one of them. I longed to talk to my best friend, Pallavi. She would be unavailable, I thought, must be busy in office. She would be unavailable in the evening too for her family and her adorable little niece are staying with her these days. My phone buzzed loud. From the other side –
“Hi Anamika, today was hard at work….I missed you”
“Did you….I missed you too dear”
This is us, I and Pallavi, best friends, guide and philosopher to each other. Knowing each other since high school, stayed in touch through post cards, letters and phone calls after finishing school but becoming best friends many years later after discovering same spiritual inclination amidst the struggle of life. We call ourselves soul sisters.

Those are the best connections, when you can just sense the other person needs you and you call at the perfect time.
